Papas is a growing, market-focused manufacturer of dynamic, truck-mounted equipment. We are recognised as a responsive, knowledgeable and innovative company with obligations to our customers, employees, and the community. Papas provide quality products and service that exceeds customer expectations. The Company's primary products include, front lift, rear lift, side lift compaction truck bodies as well as on-site compaction units all of which carry the "Papas" brand name. Papas currently employs 42 people.
As the call in South Australia was limited for front lift compactors, Papas predominately built road transport equipment with the occasional call for waste handling equipment. Papas transport and waste equipment was quickly recognized for both its quality construction and rugged reliability. During the 1980's the company adopted a policy of innovation resulting in the development of new products focusing on the waste and recycling industries. Papas introduced rear loading compactors, mini rear loading compactors, side loading compactors, stationary and portable compactors to their market range. Over the past 24 years, Papas have become a well established manufacturing company specialising in Waste compaction and handling equipment. During this time a continous improvement policy was adopted to keep in touch with customers requirements. A lot has changed since Papas was started. Today Papas is a leading designer and manufacturer of quality waste handling and compaction equipment. As an example of the acceptence of Papas equipment, during the financial year of 2001/2002 Papas manufactured in excess of 20 front lift compaction units which were delivered to nearly all parts of Australia. This was a hundred percent growth over the previous financial year.
